What I Do
I am a professional educator with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Multicultural Education. I focus on building inclusive, globally minded, and culturally responsive classrooms. I strive to create environments where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to engage with perspectives different from their own. I believe education should help students think critically, communicate clearly, and engage with the diverse world around them. I aim to help students connect ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Curiosity has shaped every stage of my life and career. That’s why I design learning experiences that encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and make meaningful connections. I believe that learning is more than acquiring information; it's about changing the way we understand the world.
My opportunities have allowed me to teach students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, reinforcing my belief that meaningful learning begins with understanding each student's unique experiences and perspectives.
As a non-native Spanish speaker, I have seen firsthand the insight and opportunities that come from learning another language. This has deepened my appreciation for cultural exchange and reinforced my belief that learning encourages curiosity and makes meaningful connections.
My interests continue to define my work. Whether through teaching, curriculum design, research, or international education, I love to I help people make connections.
Curiosity motivates me, and I hope to create learning experiences that inspire students to keep asking questions, explore the world with open minds, and discover meaningful connections of their own.
